  1. This spring is amazing in how quickly the transformation from “winter drab” to full exuberance of life has happened. The first day of april hardly anything but the daffodils were blooming. Today my bleeding hearts are in full bloom, the pulmonaria, grape hyacinths, flowering peach, dogwood, redbud, pear trees, cherry trees, violets, tulips and the first of the iris. WOW. My peonies will bloom way ahead of time if Jack Frost doesn’t come nipping back to spoil the fun.
