I watched as I sat
between the trees and the waves
among the sun and wind
the liquid fireworks.
Did time stand still?
was I poised on the ledge of a different universe
where hours are measured in
movement and light
not by tasks completed?
Come to me when I have gone
Remember me in my haste
Sing to me in my labor
For eternity you are.
