3. This is so lovely, Ellen. I’m curious – you mention the birch trees. Is there supposed to be an image here? I ask only because some of my have been disappearing recently. I wasn’t sure if you had posted an image here or not.

   We had silver birch at my growing-up home in Iowa. I did love them, and the comment about the birch brought them back.
