A grey day that is beautiful in its own way. The pictures are courtesy of the Dover Design Sampler; from Art Nouveau Stencil Designs in Color. Blessings, Ellen

Hi Ellen, I really like the second picture, that would be lovely to have on my wall, Annie
What lovely borders these are, Ellen. The fuchsia reminds me of the border wallpaper in the guest room of my grandmother’s house, and how the fresh sheets and comforter on the bed smelled of dry lavender she stored in tied handkerchiefs and tucked under the pillows until it was time for bed.

Fuchsia is a pretty plant. What a lovely rug that would make.

These are both so very lovely, Ellen! Just a few minutes ago I was taking some pictures of delicate fuchsia flowers. They are living art.
