Cold. Brilliant light. Floating ice along the shore.
Today is a day of gratitude for the essentials: heat, water, able to be home, see the beauty from the windows.
I’m always grateful to the people who keep everything running in all kinds of weather.
I tried an acrostic:
C old and time to
O pen books, new and old
L oved and saved – for a

From the archives:

Hope you have a good weekend, Ellen

Time to cozy up! Margie

I, too, appreciate the work that goes on during inclement weather, while I’m tucked warmly inside.

Lovely sentiment expressed in the short acrostic poem. Just the thing for a cold winter’s day.
