Today Karl and I finished the manuscript for the large print book, from Quiet Christmas Poetry. Next week we’ll meet with a local printer.
We’ve had nights below freezing here. Quiet beauty. The days grow short.

I share this poem each year – my Thanksgiving poem.
November Wisconsin countryside
Bare trees elegant against the sky
Colors in the landscape muted now
October’s glory is gone
And love grows eternally
Published in SMILE (Fall/Winter, 2008 – 2009).
Praying for great success with the book. Love the last line of the poem especially.

I don’t think I read this last year, so thank you for posting it again! Your poems comfort me with His beauty and grace. Bare trees are elegant to me too!
God bless you and Karl and your lovely Christmas book!
