A Poet’s Window

I look out one window
and there are icebergs
growing larger

how beautiful the light
on the snow and ice

I look out another window
and there are the
evergreen branches
dancing in the wind

The new issue of Time Of Singing arrived yesterday.  Always special.

  1. Your views and mine are quite similar, Ellen, but you describe it so much better! Colorado is struggling under snow-covered ice, with schools closed and cold-reporting of accidents. So I read your wonderful words and smile.
