November

Written by Ellen Grace Olinger

November
mid-afternoon

blue sky
and light falls
through trees
to the garage roof

evergreens a presence
year-round

yet somehow
with fallen leaves
and flowers gone

this is their time
to shine

evergreen time

Ellen Grace Olinger
