always beauty

shapes of snow
rest on leafless
branches of trees

poetry books
art on the walls

painted fruits
and leaves
in an old bowl

a bright red sweater
I save for appointments
and meals in family places

the ageless beauty
that can only grow
from the soul

Three poems from my archives:

always beauty
wildflowers bloom
by the junkyard

sun-warmth
and letting my mind rest
robins teach me their song

all winter
flowers rested
in the earth
beauty begins
in the heart
