near the garage
on a cold March day
bird songs

morning clouds
and here and there
enough light for the lily

reading poetry
some blue sky among clouds
and forsythia

everything must be
perfect for them this year
irises everywhere

summer
early sun fills
a bouquet of flowers

reading haiku
the generous new growth
of evergreens

rain and
near my window
first daylilies bloom

early morning
hosta flowers grow
above the windowsill

Saturday morning
so happy with the plants
we bought on sale

peaceful morning
a prayer from childhood
still with me
