three poems

Written by Ellen Grace Olinger

mid-October
green and gold hosta leaves
by the ash tree stump

today

rose-colored
carnation

broken somehow
from the large
bouquet

floats by itself
in a cup with
pheasant pictures

September 19, 2014

slowing down
even more . . .
wild turkeys
cross a country road
in peace
