new day
in my older life
sun on evergreens
January
far from perfect
and in need of grace
we found our way
to unconditional love
February
March sunrise
shadows of trees
on cedar garage
March
raindrops
robin in a daylily
garden
April
May garden
daffodils bloom
through the night
May
early June
ferns as tall
as the garden chair
June
mid-July
daylilies and hosta
tell the time
July
sunrise . . .
some water
for the chrysanthemum

August
grey day
colors of books go well
with art on the walls
September
October days
and November in sight
frost on the ground
October
peaceful morning
a prayer from childhood
still with me
