late May garden

These are poems from May posts last year, that seem to work well in one post this morning.

Yesterday, we saw that the new lilies Karl planted last year are growing again.

late May garden
more poems than I could
ever write

roses by the window
fill with sunlight
new morning

clouds and sky
forget-me-nots bloom
here and there

breakfast and music
when a song begins
I know the words
Amazing Grace

primroses growing
from garden to lawn
deep decades of roots
strengthen my faith
for new dreams

“breakfast and music” is also from POEMS FROM PSALMS AND NATURE.

“primroses growing” was published in SMILE, 2012. An old poem that is still true.
