Where is the best place to watch the sunset near you?
Yesterday, I listened to music and watched the day end from my study window. Usually, I write about the morning light. I thought about the evergreens and their presence through the days and seasons.

What would you title the chapters of your autobiography?
My work is here, with blogs. I do not have the goal of a memoir, but the large print chapbook that Karl and I created from posts at Quiet Christmas Poetry in 2014 continues to reach readers.
The Quiet Christmas Poetry site is a free version of our book. We donated copies to libraries and other places. Karl’s winter Lake Michigan photo is the Cover Art.

Bloganuary Prompt for January 28, 2023
This prompt brings back memories of working in a bakery when I was in high school. Sometimes the manager shared a beautiful cake with all of us. My father shopped at the store too. He bought rolls, and my mother baked cookies and cakes.
I am seeing some winter poems. Yesterday, snow at rest on branches, and a few are broken. Old trees and strong winds. Robins will return.

I was reading from Haiku Society of America members anthologies, and posted my haiku at Poems For Bulletin Boards last year.
As I wrote here, “I studied French when young, from 6th grade through the beginning of college at UW-Madison. I remember singing carols in French” (December 24, 2014).
