Sun and trees in the wind, as I read and watch winter begin to end. I look forward to more bird songs.

March sun
evergreen branches
in the wind

sun and blue sky
gardens covered with snow
where plants and flowers
will soon grow

a few icicles
by the window
rain and wind
last few days
of February

evergreens and sky
is blue – some snow
on branches
yet more green today
I think of snowdrops
in spring
