This Winter and Spring, I am reading The Way of Abundance: A 60-Day Journey into a Deeply Meaningful Life, by Ann Voskamp (2018, Zondervan). Her new book is Waymaker, which I plan to read in time.
Regarding The Way of Abundance, and as written on the back cover, this book draws from “her exquisite, soul-searching online journal and the transformational insights of her New York Times bestseller The Broken Way . . .”

WordPrompt: Bridge 3
This post follows my post March WordPrompt: Bridge, from March 9, 2022; and my post yesterday. When I think about poetry – and always a work in progress – after church, the Psalms, and music, there are books. Art builds so many bridges. We see that every day with blogs.
Last week, I received a nice email from Amazon to encourage me to write some reviews again. I am writing some reviews that are really thank you notes for books that helped me and that I reread. Yesterday, I wrote a short review for Friends for the Journey by Madeleine L’Engle and Luci Shaw. This review is for the paperback edition 2003 published by Regent College Publishing in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Good to see classic books kept in print and reach new generations of readers. I also wrote about books for the bloganuary 2022 challenge.

My haiku was published at Poems From Psalms And Nature on May 16, 2012. Reprinted in the book, The Helping Hand Haiku Anthology (Including Senryu, Tanka, and Haiga). Edited by Robert Epstein (2020, Middle Island Press). Karl and I also reprinted the poem in Quiet Christmas Poetry (2014). I am reading from the anthology today.

Today I looked at my Stats in a big picture way. I was interested and grateful to see again how readers visit from many countries.
I recently renewed my subscription as a Sponsor for the print journal, Time Of Singing. On the 2022 renewal form, Lora Homan Zill, Editor, noted that “Time Of Singing provides a high quality market for poets from all over the world.”
