Grief And Acceptance
is a quiet place for posts
around this theme.
I wrote this new poem on January 23, 2016:
another year
has passed since
my mother’s passing
I sit and quietly read
a book she would like too
for Enola M. Borgh
1917 – 2004
*
These are examples of earlier poems:
country cemetery
trumpet vines
growing taller
than the gravestones
(Published in Time Of Singing, 2012)
*
sunrise
in early May
tiny bird sings
on the branch
of budding lilacs
*
evergreens grow
in the country cemetery
I don’t know how it can be
that love keeps growing
all these years
only ever-grateful
that love does grow
*
Thank you and blessings,
