And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

review

Yesterday, I began my review of my poetry files, before email. This has been a goal for awhile.

I know there is a lot to learn there: poems sent for review, a few accepted, and most of all, the feedback from writers and editors. This is all a part of so many years and memories. An hour here, an hour there. Not too much at one time.

Most of all, I want to say thank you to editors who took the time to encourage a new poet. I am always beginning anew. Most of all, with my poems, I try to express in simple language the seasons and daily life through the years. Encouragement.

I have lost touch with some print journals and editors. Often, they were from a generation older than me. I will let go, and I will also save a few notes and old poems. Perhaps create a collage. And some new space in my files for life now.

And thank you. I like that the work I want to save is all here, and lots of informal posts too.

revison is a new poem yesterday at Poems From Psalms And Nature.
