Creative Author Note: Ann Voskamp

This Winter and Spring, I am reading The Way of Abundance: A 60-Day Journey into a Deeply Meaningful Life, by Ann Voskamp (2018, Zondervan). Her new book is Waymaker, which I plan to read in time.

Regarding The Way of Abundance, and as written on the back cover, this book draws from “her exquisite, soul-searching online journal and the transformational insights of her New York Times bestseller The Broken Way . . .”

I like this idea for a book structure. Please visit the Ann Voskamp site if you wish more information about her posts and books.

Small Study Poems and Seasons – 1

My small study on the second floor is my view of the seasons when I read print journals and books. A comfortable chair, a lamp, a desk by the window, a plant, and a bookcase. File cabinets. The back yard is the view – sky, clouds, light, trees, birds. The lamp was a gift from Karl and has a small table and place for books.

This morning, I thought I’d see if over time a collection that pictures the seasons has grown. I post in an everyday way here. For this post, I reviewed my archives from January 2020 – August 2020.
