forsythia by the garage
bright petals and beauty
for all to see along the road
yesterday pink flowers
by the kitchen windows
and the first bee
of the year I see

May Saturday
forsythia petals
on the ground
and ferns grow tall
in the sun
forsythia
in Winter sun
beautiful today
and will bloom again
in forsythia time
Simple work in the kitchen. Grateful for good food and warm water to wash the dishes. I take my time and look at the yard. How the forsythia by the garage grew this year, and is tall, wide, and also reaches to the earth.
Poems from the archives:
forsythia leaves
covered with snow
in late Autumn
years of seasons
live in my heart
November 2014
all the more yellow
because of grey skies
daffodils
forsythia
dandelions
May 2011
early November
Fall leaves
on the paths and gardens
forsythia leaves
still green
This morning I saw a red cardinal and the yellow forsythia by the garage. This afternoon, the cardinal visited the birch tree branch outside my study window.
POEMS From My Archives
time for lunch
cardinals by a pumpkin
in the garden
colors change
throughout the day
blue jays on branches
in the lilac bush
just beginning
red cardinal in evergreens
almost every day
I wonder what poems
may appear
what I may write
interesting what may
catch my attention
who or what says
“I am the poem this day”
I only know what touches
my heart and soul . . .
