grey Monday post, continued
the poetry
is always present
and faith when not seen
or heard
I remember views
from hospital windows
and drives home
from nursing homes
the depth of souls
who lived a long time
and would keep
the faith now too
the inspiration
of being at stores
and wearing
our face masks
and an autumn drive
with harvested fields
and pumpkins in the car
light through clouds
Karl and I drove to Plymouth, Wisconsin yesterday, to pick up his order at Fleet Farm. We bought pumpkins from Frey Farms at the Walmart nearby. A time to be practical, patient, take great care. We also got our senior flu shots last week at one of our health clinics. And we will vote.
