Poems About Snowdrops And Daffodils

gardens in winter
the serene snowfall
and remembering
where snowdrops
will bloom

January 2011

soon the garden
will begin in small ways
snowdrops

March 2019

blue sky
with cotton clouds
snowdrops

March 2010

reading Psalms
in the sunroom
fragrance of daffodils

March 2015

all the more yellow
because of grey skies
daffodils
forsythia
dandelions

May 2011

sunrise
daffodils bowed by rain
recover

May 2016

leaving them be
fragrance of faded
daffodils in a glass

June 2015

And a poem from February 2015:

blue grey sky
and water
a light grey

sun bright
through
evergreens

this new day

robins

A few petunias
snapdragons, gold and white mums
the robins are gone.

Holding in my heart
as days become cold and dark
robins will return.

AUTUMN GRACE

leaves of bleeding hearts
now gold
so do broken hearts mend
so does grief heal
Autumn grace
