by the doors at Walmart
errands in Sheboygan
on a beautiful day
Pick ‘n Save and Walmart
And now I remember this poem:

people of all ages
at the market
time for supper

Karl and I went to Walmart in Sheboygan yesterday, and then enjoyed a meal at home.
Today I am reading from books I ordered from different small presses. I often read book reviews in journals.
early quiet
morning work
and then sometimes
a phrase for a poem
bright September light
images and words
fly through the air
searching for a form
searching for a poem
to call their own
An old poem, from years ago
now that I know
their name
I see them everywhere
hydrangeas
I also shared this poem on my site, Poems For Bulletin Boards, on September 13, 2017, with a different picture. Teachers are welcome to use my poems in their lessons, with proper credit. There is a simple language lesson in this poem.
