Blue sky and trees are the view from my study this morning. I read a few Psalms and listen for sounds of spring in the neighborhood. And then write a poem.

early morning
time to sit and watch
the light begin
cook breakfast
and wash the dishes
pray a few Psalms
along with many
near and far and
unseen by me
we pray together
