rice for lunch
with kale, peas, and spinach
leftovers to last
a few days

sun and snow
on the garage roof
fewer colors
in the Winter yard
a peaceful scene

Saturday afternoon
and time to read
shape of the lamp
in sun on the wall
near my chair

forsythia
in Winter sun
beautiful today
and will bloom again
in forsythia time

Winter winds
and trees in sun
snow and ice
along the seawalls
