Saturday notes

Here is a photo of the cactus I mentioned in my post, February sunroom: We bought a Christmas cactus on sale for half-price, that is just beginning to bloom. We were at Caan’s in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I took the photo yesterday.

This week we went to the Oostburg Public Library, and walked outside by Veterans Park in town.

Yesterday we went to Kohler-Andrae State Park to buy our Annual Vehicle Admission Sticker for our Wisconsin State Park System. These are a few of Karl’s photos from 2019.

Libraries

The Oostburg Public Library “A Little Library Growing Everyday” is another wonderful library in our area. I love having a library card and being able to borrow books – what a great idea, libraries! Karl took this photo there on July 6, 2019.

We also went to the Cedar Grove Public Library last summer. Karl took these photos on July 7, 2019. I look forward to more visits.

Cold Monday

Early March, and it seems normal that it is very cold today, though warming later this week (we’ll see). Wisconsin winters. Karl and I went to the Oostburg Public Library, and then to Mentink’s Piggly Wiggly. Another year, I bought a winter coat for ten dollars at Bethesda Thrift Store in Sheboygan. The coat is too big, and perfect to wear with winter clothes.
