As April begins to look towards May, I can say that this year I see April in a new way. No longer winter, and not really spring yet here either. April. The month that begins with snowdrops and ends with forsythia where we live. Plants grow in the gardens. The perennials that flower in their time, and will call to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Last year, Karl planted more lilies, and thistles found more room to grow. Each day beautiful.

August days go by
new light in the kitchen
flowers bloom and then rest
know they will return
only now beginning
I thought only now beginning could be a new series. Every day a gift.
