Lora Homan Zill, the editor of Time Of Singing, offers reflections and practical advice in her Editor’s Arias.  In her Spring 2017 essay, she shares her insights from her experience teaching at conferences.

I served as a judge for the summer contest, and enjoyed the poems. The deadline is past, and the form this time was Haiku, Senryu, or Tanka.  My haiku have been published in Time Of Singing since the early 1990s.  You can read other forms of poetry on the TOS sample poems page.
