Poems from my archives, to follow my post Bloganuary prompt for January 30, 2022.
tree farm
young trees grow
alongside the old
grey clouds
and Norway Spruce
tree in the wind
a restful view
Sunday morning
tree branches
bowed to the ground
seemingly half-broken
covered with new leaves
my notebook of prayers
beginning
in the area
where we had
to take a tree down
new peony leaves
many Springs
yellow primroses
near an old tree
day grows more clear
day grows more clear
primroses grow past
the flower garden
today
primroses growing
from garden to lawn
deep decades of roots
strengthen my faith
for new dreams

Karl mows around the primroses until their flowers are past for the year. And the primroses return every year. We did not plant them, and are grateful for how they grow in different places in the yard.

Since the primroses are many and beautiful, I’ll say P for primroses. Here is a gallery that also includes a vintage paper from Reusable Art. Karl and I took the photos over the years.
This gallery includes a Primrose Botanical Print from Reusable Art.
