seasons speak
their own language
cold days here
and yet the light
tree branches
in wind and February
next week . . .
reading poetry
and more light
falls on journals
across the room
to read and reread

seasons speak
their own language
cold days here
and yet the light
tree branches
in wind and February
next week . . .
reading poetry
and more light
falls on journals
across the room
to read and reread
day begins with silence
work in the kitchen
prepare for a good day
sunrise so bright
and welcome
October days go by
Summer past
and Winter in sight
now though
Fall for awhile
furnace warms
the house
I look at books
and journals and
look forward to
more time to read
Spring, hope, renewal
always in our hearts
new art
raindrops on hosta flowers
almost in bloom
renewal
red begonia planter
on ash tree stump
seasons repeat
we tell the stories
we are given
growing older
daylilies in bloom
everywhere these days
simple meal
with grace, joy
and love
