Time Of Singing, 2012
beloved country roads
the images that went
past my mind and
to my soul
now old friends
and around the bend
seagulls rise
from corn stubble
Winter fields
a new week . . .
sky the color
of overnight
snowfall
white and green branches
stillness of evergreens
well below freezing
ice floats in the water
still the light is changing
robins and red-wings
will return on time
January 2012
day began early
and winding down
light catches the end
of an evergreen branch
in a light breeze
January 2013
February garden
light on evergreens
covered with snow
I still know the words
from songs long ago
February 2021
broccoli for lunch . . .
bright winter sun
days grow longer

We are creating posts for 2021 at Easter And Spring Poetry.
Acrostic for PSALMS and Vintage Art is a new post today. I enjoy creating with a few different themes and often reprint my poems in different ways.

late December
sky and snow on trees
the same color
branches outside
my window grow
in different ways
people we hear from
once a year
I am reading the Christmas edition of our Lakeshore Weekly, another way people in our area stay in touch and also grow their businesses.
