Poem from my February archives:
Spring will return
here and there
and then I’ll say,
“When did this happen?”
Today, though, I rest
in longer light
on evergreens
in a tiny bit of wind

Photo Challenge: Tiny
In Spring 2015, I began taking photos with a digital camera in a consistent way. I’ve always loved the image of new leaves through old leaves – tiny new beginnings. Photography opened a new world for me.
The first two photos in this post are from 2015: primrose leaves and then the flowers. The third photo is of a tulip from a store bouquet last winter. The last photo is of snowdrops from the yard, in a tiny vase from a thrift store. The snowdrops are the first to bloom in our yard, after long winters.
