Yesterday, I listened to music and watched the day end from my study window. Usually, I write about the morning light. I thought about the evergreens and their presence through the days and seasons.
Two haiku from my archives:

wind uplifting
the branches of trees

light on an old painting
in a new place
And I remember an older poem.
rearranging
art on the walls
cards, and small gifts
from friends
I see them anew
