seems larger now
no swings on the sets
and no people

We are creating posts for 2021 at Easter And Spring Poetry.
Acrostic for PSALMS and Vintage Art is a new post today. I enjoy creating with a few different themes and often reprint my poems in different ways.

I searched for “icicles” and remembered some posts. Here are a few.

bright sunrise
icicles on fallen branches
near the water
calm grey
with a hint of blue
day beginning
looking up
from words –
icicles
clear blue skies
rest my eyes
icicles melting
and willows already
look gold in the sun
still I cherish
this winter time
and will long for it
some summer days
when the gardens
are overrun
I wonder where
some years have gone
many are here
From my poem, how beautiful this day, March 3, 2019.

December garden
on the last day
of the year
snow covers old plants
and pumpkins
late December
sky and snow on trees
the same color
branches outside
my window grow
in different ways
people we hear from
once a year
I am reading the Christmas edition of our Lakeshore Weekly, another way people in our area stay in touch and also grow their businesses.
